Revolut has officially rolled out its latest app version, dubbed Revolut 10, impacting more than 35 million global accountholders. The neobank stated, "You asked for all things money made easy, so we challenged ourselves to see how easy we could make Revolut 10," emphasizing their commitment to user-friendly financial solutions.
This new version brings a visually appealing and simplified interface that allows users to view all their financial activities directly from the home screen. Additionally, the latest update makes it seamless for users to switch between their various Revolut accounts with just one tap, significantly enhancing user experience.
Amidst the changes, personalization has taken a front seat in Revolut 10, enabling users to design the app according to their preferences. From custom backgrounds to widgets and themes, the app allows users to tailor their experience further. As noted in the announcement, users can assign different backgrounds to individual accounts, making it easier to manage and distinguish among them.
The enhancements are not only about looks; Revolut 10 significantly improves the efficiency of performing money-related tasks, such as sending, saving, and spending money. “Listening to our customers was key to Revolut 10,” said Maria Herrera, head of product design at Revolut. “My goal is making money streamlined and easy to manage for everyone, which means considering every pixel, swipe and tap along the way.”
Revolut has seen considerable growth over recent months, with its accountholder count rising from 30 million in June to the current 35 million. The app has also attained the No. 1 position in the PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Digital Banking Apps, tying with Chime, both earning perfect scores of 100 in the latest evaluation reported on September 25.
In addition to this app launch, Revolut has made strides towards inclusivity. In July, the company announced expanded access to its services, now offering accounts to non-U.S. citizens who are lawfully present in the country and do not possess a Social Security Number or an individual taxpayer identification number. This move broadens Revolut's ability to cater to individuals in the U.S. on various visa types, thus widening its customer base.
Overall, the launch of Revolut 10 reflects the company's ongoing evolution in the digital banking industry, with an emphasis on user-centric design and expanded accessibility. As Revolut continues to innovate and grow, its commitment to making financial management straightforward for users remains at the forefront of their mission.
